Damian Lillard All Star player All Star rapper?

Damian Lillard All Star player All Star rapper?

How do we know who’s the best NBA rapper? It isn’t as simple as deciding who are the top 3 notorious gamblers of the N.B.A. with Jordan probably being the no-brainer top pick, but we know for sure the Lillard is most likely one of the best rappers in the NBA at this time.

Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers takes his confidence on the court to the recording studio. He is the self-proclaimed best rapper in the N.B.A. Other players, including Shaquille O’Neal, Lonzo Ball, and Iman Shumpert, disagree, but Lillard feels like the matter is not up for discussion.

When asked if he is the best N.B.A. rapper, Lillard responded that he does not compete with other players because he is an artist. His stage name is Dame D.O.L.L.A., and has faced off with the likes of Shaquille O’Neal to cement his position as the king of rap in the N.B.A. At the beginning of the season, Lillard was on a podcast show and claimed that Shaq’s success in rap was mainly due to his game rather than his rapping.

In the interview, he was quoted saying that he believes he is a better rapper than Shaq. He claimed that Shaq’s fans loved him as Shaq the basketballer and not Shaq the rapper. However, Shaq did not take these sentiments well and responded with a diss track he posted on his Instagram page. In the diss track, he reiterated why he was better than Lillard by far.
D.O.L.L.A. took on the challenge and replied the following day by releasing a rejoinder. There have been opinions from rappers and ballers about who won this beef and who the GOAT between the two is. Considering the two are primarily basketball players, it was hard to decide even though Dame D.O.L.L.A seemed to be the people’s choice. Even the seasoned bettors on Betway would have a hard time deciding the winner.

Back on the basketball court, Lillard might not have achieved as much as Shaq has (yet?), but he has made his name. There is what is popularly known as “Dame Time,” which is moments of magic from the exceptional player. He has the capability of turning a virtually impossible event into something expected. Lillard usually produces moments of brilliance in games that end up being critical in winning games.

This is what we saw from him during the 2020 NBA bubble playoffs, however his team, The Portland Trail Blazers, announced that he would be leaving the N.B.A. bubble campus to return to Portland to treat a knee injury further. He got the injury during the third quarter against the Lakers (before being swept home).

His return date is yet to be confirmed as he was also playing with a dislocated left finger, which he suffered in the second game. Before getting injured, Lillard was named the Kia N.B.A. player for the seeding games. He averaged 37.6 points, 9.6 assists, and 4.3 rebounds in over 40 minutes per game.

The bottom line is, Lillard is a super talented basketball player who is loved by bettors on Betway for his Dame Time effect on games’ outcomes.
He is also a great rapper who has attracted love and hate in equal measure. The fact that he is willing to battle it out with other N.B.A. rappers to decide who is king shows that he is ready to be crowned.
